 Tai and Agumon, weak and cold after their encounter with Devimon meet Frigimon. They manage to free Frigimon from a black gear, but end up fighting between each other.
They eventually make up and Frigimon returns the favor by helping them find Matt and Gabumon. Matt admits that he feels like he doesn't think he's a good older brother to T.K. and wishes T.K. would look up to him like he does to Tai.
They decide to try and find the rest of the Digidestined.

 Mimi and Izzy manage to find each other by blind luck. They also discover ancient ruins which helps them learn the history behind the Digital World. They free the guardian of the ruins, Centaurumon, who helps them when the now-evil Leomon attacks.

 Sora and Joe meet up when Joe and Gomamon barely flee a rampaging Ogremon. With his ego shattered, Joe feels like he is worthless. Sora decides to help Joe cheer up by letting him be in charge. It looks like she might have made a bad decision though when the two of them run into some Bakemon, ghostly Digimon who seem to be undefeateable.
It isn't until Joe remembers an ancient mantra that he is able to find a way to defeat the Bakemon and regain his self-confidence.

 T.K. and Patamon encounter Elecmon, who is guarding the digi-eggs at Primary Village. These digi-eggs will hatch to become strong Digimon, but need to be protected until then.
At first Elecmon thinks the two are enemies, but after a tug-o-war contest, they become fast friends.
