Episode 049 - The Crest of Light

Luckily the Digidestioned fell into an underground lair. There were a race of Numemon who were being enslaved by Machinedramon and WereMonzaemon. Kari taps into a mysterious light to free the Numemon, who declaer Kari their queen. They show their devotion to her when they sacrifice their life to protect her from WereMonzaemon. Kari's light manages to re-energize all of the Digimon, and WarGreymon manages a lightning-quick strike which slices MachineDramon in two, ending the evil menace.

Episode 050 - Joe's Battle

Having encountered more friends who can help protect Mimi, Joe decides to head off to try and find himself.

Meanwhile, the rest of the Digidestined enter Piedmon's lair. Angewomon and MegaKabuterimon fight LadyDevimon, while Angemon and Birdramon go off to find Matt, Joe and Mimi.

Episode 051 - The Crest of Friendship

Still trying to find himself, Matt enters a cavern where the darkness in his heart threatens to consume him. But Gabumon's friendship helps free Matt from his doubts. Joe manages to find him, and with T.K.'s help, they free Sora from the same dark cavern.

Back at Piedmon's lair, WarGreymon is battling Piedmon, but it's not going well. Injured, WarGreymon goes down, but MetalGarurmon appears, and the power of his friendship re-energizes WarGreymon. The two Megas are now ready for their final battle with Piedmon.

Episode 052 - Piedmon's Last Jest

WarGreymon and MetalGarurmon attack Piedmon, and with more experience then before, they have some success. But Piedmon uses a new spell which turns them and the Digidestined into dolls. Only T.K., Patomon and Kari are free. They try to escape but are hurled to their deaths by Piedmon.

As they fall, T.K. remembers his brother's words of encouragement, and realizes that he must somehow turn the tide of battle, that he must believe he can win.

This belief allows Angemon to digivolve into MagnaAngemon, one of the most powerful Digimon in existance. MagnaAngemon swifly dispatches Piedmon and restores the Digidestined and Digimon to their normal forms.

Then, with Mimi arriving with all of their old friends, the entire teams defeats the rest of Piedmon's army and finally saves the Digital World.
