 Hypnos works harder to capture and destroy all Digimon, and Takato and Guilmon are on their list.
Takato is racked with doubts. He's not sure if he's doing the right thing, and he's afraid of what would happen if Guilmon digivolves again. What if he becomes a wild creature? But if Guilmon doesn't digivolve, he can't grow into his true power.
Takato decides he needs to understand what Hypnos' real mission is.

 A new enemy appears, threatening both Hypnos and the Tamers. A Deva, one of 12 legendary Digimon appears. His mission - to destroy the Tamers. He quicksly dispatches Gargomon and Kyuupimon and begins to devour Growlmon's data.
Using a mysterious new blue card, Takato puts aside his fears and allows Growlmon to digivolve into his Ultimate form, MegaloGrowlmon.

 Rika encounters another Deva, a giant snake. With Takato occupied, Henry and Rika must defeat a foe whose power is greater than theirs.
