This is the first Digimon Tamers movie.
Takato is visiting his cousin in Okinawa, when he encounters a new Tamer, Minami, and her Digimon,
Shiisamon. Shiisamon was created by Minami's father, a brilliant scientist who is working on a new Digimon
program.
However, Apocalymon has escaped to the Tamers' universe and decides to use Minami's father's laboratory to
take over this new world. He will use the Digimon game to spread his virus all over the world.
Takato, Lee and Ruki must stop Apocalymon, who has now digivolved into Mephismon. But even the combined
powers of their Digimon aren't enough. But they are helped by the timely arrival of Omnimon, who has
traveled from another dimension to stop Mephismon.
Shiisamon sacrifices his life to stop Mephismon's scheme, and MegaloGrowlmon, Rapidmon and Taomon use a new
power, the Trinity Burst, to finally destroy Mephismon for good
